Tafco quality walk-in floors are designed to provide years of reliable performance. Our standard floors can provide the strength required for light, medium, and heavy cart traffic. Tafco’s experienced engineers are ready to design a floor to meet any of your requirements!
Our standard floors provide the strength required for light, medium, and heavy cart traffic. These floors are uniformly distributed with no given point load on a seam. Floors are required on all boxes above grade and for Freezer applications. Floors are recommended for Cooler applications depending on your customer needs. Non-skid strips are available upon request.

Custom Doors
The Tafco Door Difference: Made in the USA
Tafco’s FRP doors and frames have increased connection strength of the backing plates which improve overall strength. The FRP adds significant rigidity to the door, compared to steel or PVC perimeters. Our bottom sweep gasket has a built in retainer for easy replacement and all wiring is pulled to one point for ease of installation. At Tafco, we have evolved to polished hardware on both doors and frames including our standard antimicrobial coated handles.

Custom Wall Panels
Patented Construction Technique
Tafco cooler and freezer panels are available in hundreds of sizes, allowing flexibility of design. Panels come in many standard sizes, with custom size panels available upon request. These lightweight modular panels are easy to handle and allow assembly, disassembly, relocation, and expansion.
Our panels consist of urethane insulation, which is sandwiched between interior and exterior metal “skin”. This metal skin has been die-formed and gauged for uniformity in size. The edges of the panels are tongue and groove with Tafco’s SureLock fasteners which are “foamed-in-place” at time of fabrication.

- Cooler R-factor at 55°F = 36.0
- Freezer R-factor at 20°F is 32.0 for 4″ thickness, and greater than 40.0 for 5″ thick panels
- UL certified Class 1 hazard classification

Depending on the application, location, and desired temperature, our team selects the most efficient refrigeration units needed. We have the ability to size units for simple or more advanced applications. For more complex applications, our refrigeration specialists work on the best solution. We will run the system at Tafco to guarantee the system holds the parameters needed, before shipping.

Installation:
Tafco provides all types of installation depending on the customer needs. We can provide a full turn key install or a simple install of the panels with the hanging of the evaporator coil only. Our turnkey install team will include a project manager trained in all aspects for a complete and functioning walk-in. Depending on the location and size of project, our installer may even deliver the walk-in!
